Trafalgar is proud to introduce FyreWALL – Boardex BAL-FZ Bushfire Flame Zone systems as the premium lightweight solution for BAL-FZ wall and BAL-FZ roof construction in bushfire-prone areas; offering FLAME ZONE or BAL FZ-approved systems.
FyreWALL- BoardeX BAL- FZ Bushfire systems provide multi-faceted performance attributes using one building board material. BoardeX is vapor permeable, impact resistant, easy & safe to work with, can be exposed to the weather until construction is complete, and offers excellent fire resistance for bushfire prone areas. Not all bushfire systems are created equally – the BoardeX layer.
As part of a complete passive fire protection system, FyreWALL can be specified alongside roofing solutions such as FyreROOF BoardeX BAL-FZ Bushfire System to maintain consistent fire performance across interconnected building elements.

Fully BAL-FZ rated AS 1530.8.2 fire-tested and approved systems available for timber or steel framing with non-combustible cladding including:
- Corrugated steel cladding
- FC sheet cladding
- Timber Framing with 90x45mm (minimum thickness) steel sheeting (all profiles)
- Suitable for all BAL-FZ Walls within 10m and outside 10m of vegetation
- Designed to integrate with FyreROOF BoardeX BAL-FZ Bushfire System
