Description
FyreJOINT (also known as Ryan Span) is a flexible, intumescent joint seal for fire-rated construction, control and expansion joints. Its pliable laminated strip has layers of intumescent graphite between layers of combustion-modified foam, allowing it to accommodate building movement while providing fire protection.
FyreJOINT is suitable for tested wall and floor joint systems where flexibility is required. It can be installed in vertical or horizontal joints, with tested systems covering joint widths up to 150 mm. Fire resistance levels depend on the substrate, joint width and installation configuration; refer to the Technical Manual for the applicable system.
