In addition to the polymeric flange, the FyreSHIELD™ PLUS includes the patent pending RAKBACK to improve
both fire and acoustic performance. These innovations allow Trafalgar Fire to sapply a hinged fire-rated access panel that can achieve the full insulation performance required by the NCC. The FyreSHIELD™ Plus is also approved for plasterboard ceiling.

FyreSHIELD™ incorporates polymeric flange to ensure the frame will maintain the maximum
temperature rise requirements in accordance with AS1530.4:2014. Previous systems required additional
architraves for full insulation performance whereas the FyreSHIELD™ is a “complete” system.
