ALLOWS FOR DRAINAGE AND VENTILATION
Siderise® RH (Rainscreen Horizontal) Open State Cavity Barriers have been developed to meet the complex requirements of ventilated rainscreen cavities. The Lamella stone wool barrier includes an integral strip of intumescent material along the leading edge. Mechanically fixed to the inner wall construction, it maintains an air gap behind the cladding panel to allow for daily ventilation and drainage.
In a fire, the intumescent rapidly expands to close this and form a Fire Seal, preventing the spread of fire.
