Penetrations in Trafalgar COREX Ceilings
Trafalgar Fire have developed a fire rated ceiling using our impact resistant Corex Boards, using only 2x layers of board for up to -/120/120 fire separation. As part of any fire barrier, it is important to be able to penetrate these fire barriers with common building services so Trafalgar are proud to present a wide range of service penetration system approvals that are tested specifically for Corex board ceilings to AS1530.4:2014 with RISF ratings.
All of our systems have been extensively fire tested at independent fire test laboratories ensuring strict compliance with the National Construction Code.

Passive Fire Stopping Systems for
Trafalgar COREX Ceilings Penetration
Our tested systems are approved for ceilings constructed of a minimum of 2x layers of 15mm Corex board ceilings with FRL’s ranging from -/60/60 to -/120/120, with 60min of RISF performance as required for all fire rated ceilings called up in the National Construction Code (NCC). These approvals can also be applied to thicker ceilings, such as 2 x 20mm plasterboard or even 2 x 25mm Corex boards for up to -/120/120 approvals.
