The Trafalgar Unicorn Continuous Fire Collar is the longest continuous collar supplied in the market. The Unicorn, comprising 154 cut-and-snap 15mm segments, streamlines inventory and reduces overheads by facilitating easy customisation to any service diameter, thus eliminating the need to stock numerous collar sizes.
Its impressiveness is further evidenced in fire tests, where it stands out as one of the only collars to receive approvals for PEX-A, PEX-B, and PEX-AL-PEX pipes without the necessity for wrap.
Its use of a smart intumescent material, along with FyrePEX HP intumescent sealant, expands quickly to seal around plastic pipes when a fire breaks out. This stops fire and smoke in their tracks, protecting adjacent areas and effectively stopping fire spread.
Rigorously tested to meet AS 1530.4: 2014 standards and with Fire Resistance Levels (FRL) up to -/240/240, it guarantees compliance with the strictest safety codes. Equipped with necessary fixings, it offers an efficient installation process.
