Passive Fire Stopping for
Steel Deck Floor
Composite decking is a fast, efficient permanent metal formwork solution for suspended concrete floors or decks.
Specific fire testing to AS1530.4 – 2014 is required for these steel & concrete composite and plain concrete floor slab fire test data is not suitable for evidence of compliance with the NCC here in Australia.
Trafalgar Fire is committed to innovation and system development for the passive fire industry and as such have conducted numerous fire tested systems, designed to maintain the FRL of service penetrations through steel & concrete deck floor systems.
These systems include our innovative FyrePLATE sheet metal adaptor plates for cast-in fire collars, our cast-in fire-rated box systems as well as FyreBATT solutions for complicated services. The Trafalgar Fire systems in this document have been fire-tested and approved specifically for use in composite deck floor systems, providing full compliance with the NCC. .
